How We Scaled a Kid's Fashion Webshop to €530K in Revenue at an 892% ROAS

Over a three month period, we helped Charlys.nl generate €530,000 in revenue through Google Ads at an 892% ROAS. In this case study, I will walk you through the strategy that made this growth possible.
The Brand
Charlys.nl is a Dutch children's clothing brand that focuses mainly on children's and baby clothing. Within their range, they focus primarily on the sale of rain boots and children's jackets.

The Starting Point
We started in the low season. Instead of waiting for demand to pick up, we used this quieter period to build a strong foundation, starting with a full optimization of the product feed. This made sure the account was ready to scale the moment demand increased.

Feed Optimization
We fully optimized the product feed using a feed management tool and added every relevant attribute. This created a clean, complete base that positioned the products well in the auction from the start.
Pricing for Auction Position
Next, we applied a pricing strategy on the smallest size. By making the smallest size cheaper, we could move to the front of the auction more easily. This produced a much higher CTR.
A Different Image Per Size
To capture more clicks and dominate the auction, we gave every size a different photo. This allowed us to scale to the maximum and dominate the auction.

CSS Partner and Star Reviews
We also added a CSS partner and implemented star ratings and reviews. This lowered our CPC and increased our CTR even further.
The Outcome
The combination of a fully optimized feed, smart pricing, strong visuals, and a CSS partner with star reviews created a profitable formula. Over the period from August 1 to October 31, 2025, the account generated €530,000 in revenue at an 892% ROAS from €59,300 in ad spend, across 6,900 conversions. With an average CPC of €0.42, an above average CTR of 1.86%, and an AOV of €76.81, this was the perfect formula to advertise profitably.
